They find themselves at a thrift shop and Carmen tries on some simple Levi jeans. Shockingly, with all girls being totally different shapes and sizes, the jeans fit each girl perfectly! They decide that throughout the summer, they'll send the jeans to each other so that they can wear them. Bridget goes to soccer camp, Carmen goes to South Carolina to see her dad, Lena goes to Greece, and Tibby spends the summer working. Each of the girls experience a conflict in their summer. Bridget has a crush on the forbidden soccer coach. Carmen discovers her dad is getting remarried. Lena falls in love with a boy of which her grandparents would not approve of.
